Sanjay Goel is the Executive Vice President and President, Asia-Pacific, at American Tower. He joined the company in March 2021. Prior to American Tower, he was with Nokia, where he started in the mobile networks division in 2001. During his time at Nokia, he held various sales and business management positions, including Head of the Managed Services Business Line for Asia Pacific, Japan, and India and Vice President of the Global Services Business Unit, APAC and Japan. He also led Nokia’s Global Services business across Asia, the Middle East and Africa, and created a new sales and business development division within Global Services, based in Finland. Most recently, he served as President of the Global Services business group and Nokia Operations. 

Sanjay began his career at ABB and IBM, prior to joining Nokia. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Engineering with specialization in Electronics and Communications from Manipal Institute of Technology
