Transactions include acquisition of a controlling stake in Maroc Telecom (EUR 4bn), sale of Atlantique Telecom (EUR 474m), merger between Etisalat and Hutchinson in Sri Lanka, acquisition of Help AG in the UAE (cybersecurity), acquisition of El Grocer (online grocery), merger of Etisalat's UAE data center portfolio with G42, e&'s initial investment in Wio Bank (UAE digital bank), acquisition of a controlling stake in StarzPlay (leading SVOD player in the MENA region), acquisition of e&'s stake in Vodafone Group, acquisition of a controlling stake in PPF Telecom (Central and Eastern Europe, EUR 2.15bn), PTCL's acquisition of Telenor Pakistan (ca. USD 380m).
