Tanya joined Equinix in 2011 and is currently Senior Director for Corporate Development for Equinix Asia-Pacific. In this role, she manages the company’s growth portfolio across the region, including organic expansions, merger and acquisition and capital allocation in Asia-Pacific. She has played an instrumental role in expanding Equinix footprint in the region from 5 metros to 17 metros today including market entry into India, South Korea, Malaysia, and Indonesia.

 

Tanya has nearly two decades of experience in M&A and strategic business planning, working across markets such as India, United States, Hong Kong, and Singapore. Tanya holds an MBA in Finance from Boston University and a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the University of Delhi, India. Equinix has prioritized investment in designing efficient data centers that ensure reliability, resilience and sustainability of our portfolio. 

Tanya also co-led our collaboration with National University of Singapore - CERT to explore and develop hydrogen fuel technologies for green data centers in tropical climates, with a long-term goal of adapting them for use in Equinix's global network.
