Niranjan is the global co-head of the firm's technology, media and telecommunications sectors and has been practising in the tech and telecoms industry for over 20 years.

 

Niranjan’s practice covers all corporate aspects of the technology, media and telecommunications sectors including M&A, joint ventures, and corporate governance. He has advised many funds and operators on digital infrastructure investments, including fibre, tower, data centre and subsea projects, across a range of jurisdictions in Asia, including Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Korea, Vietnam and Sri Lanka. He also advises on technology fundraising from early stage to pre-IPO investments and exit, technology joint ventures and non-technology sector clients acquiring digital assets. He acts for a variety of clients across Asia, having spent four years in Hong Kong and Shanghai, and has spent the last twenty years primarily servicing technology and telecoms clients in Asia and Australia.

 

Niranjan is recognised as a 'Leading Individual' by Legal 500 Asia-Pacific 2023, and was voted a leading M&A lawyer in Chambers 2023 and Best Lawyers.
