Speaker Profile
Joey has over 26 years of experience in International expansion, strategy, and sales management. He currently leads the Amazon Web Services (AWS) sustainability effort in ASEAN, launching market-moving initiatives with central banks, regulators, and stock exchanges to enable a low-carbon economy. Joey also serve as an advocate for sustainability programs in partnership with industry associations and NGOs, providing content and thought leadership on green technology and innovation.
Prior to AWS, he held leadership positions at Alibaba Group, where he drove the globalization strategy, expanded the cloud datacenter coverage, and led the special projects for the Olympics and the eWTP. As a board advisor, researcher, and mentor, he contributes to the development of the digital economy and the next generation of talent in the region.
He currently sits on various corporate and government advisory boards and resides in Singapore.
