Luca Melluso is AirTrunk’s Head of Customer Solutions. Based in Singapore, Mr Melluso is responsible for the design and positioning of AirTrunk’s pioneering services and solutions. He also manages the engagement with customers, connectivity partners and carriers across the region.
Mr Melluso is a skilled communicator and takes great pride in his ability to work with customer leaders to understand their needs and create sophisticated solutions.
AirTrunk is the pioneer of hyperscale data centres in Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ), focused on delivering unmatched scale, speed, efficiency and reliability for its customers. In 2017, AirTrunk opened Australia’s first and largest hyperscale data centres in Sydney and Melbourne and has rapidly expanded across the region. This includes launching hyperscale data centres in Singapore, Hong Kong, Sydney North and Japan, announcing the development of second data centres in Western Sydney, Tokyo and Hong Kong, as well as new data centres in Johor Bahru, Malaysia and Osaka, Japan. Collectively, AirTrunk’s data centre platform will offer more than 1.4 gigawatts (GW) of capacity providing a connected, secure, and sustainable home for data across the APJ region.
With over 17 years of international data centre experience spanning both start-up and Fortune 500 companies, Mr Melluso has developed a passion for improving clients’ organisational efficiencies through design, integration and optimisation of technology solutions.
Prior to joining AirTrunk, Mr Melluso led solutions engineering for IO data centres through their US$1.3b acquisition by Iron Mountain in 2018.
Mr Melluso received his Master in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Genova. Melluso is a bilingual communicator with fluency in both English and Italian.
