Speaker Profile

Pakseong is the Director & CFO of SM+ Holdings (“SM+”), a digital infrastructure and services investment platform backed by Sinar Mas, one of Indonesia’s largest business groups. SM+ owns and operates one of the broadest networks of Edge and Metro data centers across 24 cities in Indonesia. It operates a technology solutions business through LG Sinar Mas, a joint venture between SM+ and LG CNS, South Korea’s leading IT services company. 

With 25 years of sector experience in energy and utilities, data centers, and digital infrastructure, he has covered corporate and project finance, strategy, business development, operations, and M&A initiatives both with regional and international players, particularly within the Asia-Pacific region. He has extensive experience in developing and managing energy and utilities projects, primarily power plants, and later transitioned to datacenters—a shift that underscores the essential link between reliable power, utilities and digital infrastructure. 

He began his career at PwC in Singapore and holds a Bachelor of Economics from La Trobe University, Australia, and is a CPA.
